Sound Matters is band 10 members strong playing all your classic rock favorites.
The band consists of drums/bass/guitar as well as dueling saxes, trumpet, myself (on keyboard/acoustic guitar/percussion) and three distinct unique singers.
Sound definitely matters when jamming with this band.
Lizzy and I take the “birthday cake” that is Right On and shrink it down to a “cupcake” of a duo. All the fun, delicious songs; just without the three layers of extra frosting.
My longtime collaborator/vocal powerhouse Jade and I come together to bring a full band sound with only half the members. Jade fronts the duo while I play all the instruments I can using the live looping technique. Ed Sheeran (among others) brought looping into prominence using this amazing live performances. With this technology I play AND record parts of the song in real time, while playing along with “myself” and the recorded loops. You get the experience of a full band with only two people!
Madi and I have been playing together for years and always have the maximum amount of fun! Madi's amazing voice and infectious way of carrying a tune make her an instant favorite whenever we perform. We seem to know what the other is thinking and it makes for wonderful time for both us and our audience.
